Las "Cartas de Lectores Sanateros" de La Nacion PRO

Leyendo el diario "LA NACION PRO" uno puede encontrar joyitas como esta, de un lector que escribe desde Miami:


El Sr. Julio dice "Suficientes problemas tenemos los frecuentes visitantes a Buenos Aires con los paros en las aerolíneas y los aeropuertos, los cierres de calle y la inseguridad que reina en todas partes."

Uno podría concluir entonces que Miami es un "paraíso de la seguridad" y que la inseguridad es algo solo ocurrente en Argentina.

Aquí les dejo la respuesta que le envié a este Sr.:

le recuerdo que las huelgas son una herramienta legitima de los empleados, para obtener mejoras en su sueldo. Pasa en todas partes, -menos aparentemente en Estados Unidos donde cada vez existen menos sindicatos dado su bello sistema de "salvese quien pueda"-. Ejemplo:

NORTH MIAMI

A gunman robbed an employee at a hair salon at 1350 NE 125th St. as he was leaving work at 5:15 p.m.

Jan. 27. The robber approached the employee and demanded his possessions before stealing $300 and running away.

A thief took a vacuum valued at $200 after shattering a window on a car in the 13700 block of Northeast Third Court between 8 p.m. Jan. 26 and 7:45 a.m. Jan. 27.

A thief made off with a purse containing $300, credit cards, identification cards and a payroll check in the amount of $328 after shattering a window on a car in the 500 block of Northwest 129th Street at 9 p.m. Jan. 26.

Police arrested a man on a charge of theft at the Home Depot, 12055 Biscayne Blvd., at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 26. Police said the man removed a hole saw drill bit valued at $5.69 from its packaging before hiding the item in his pants and walking past registers.

A thief stole a wallet containing a driver's license, credit cards, $15 and personal checks after entering a car in the 12400 block of Northeast Eighth Avenue between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Jan. 26. The thief also made off with a cellphone.

A thief stole an iPod, a SunPass and $3 in loose change from a car in the 2200 block of Northeast 121st Street between 8 a.m. Jan. 22 and 3 a.m. Jan. 24.

A burglar stole a purse containing $160, a driver's license, a cellphone and keys after entering a house in the 600 block of Northeast 121st Street while the owner was sleeping between 5 and

6 a.m. Jan. 26.

A thief took a wallet containing car registration card, an insurance card and other documents after shattering a window on a car at Fountainhead Nursing Center, 390 NE 135th St., between 11:45 p.m. Jan. 25 and 7 a.m. Jan. 26.

A thief stole a laptop computer valued at $950 after shattering a window on a car at the Home Depot, 12055 Biscayne Blvd., between 9 and 9:45 a.m.

A burglar made off with jewelry, $10,000, a shotgun and ammunition after breaking into and ransacking a house in the 2100 block of Northeast 121st Street between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.

A thief took a paycheck in the amount of $636.57 after entering an unlocked car in the 16800 block of Northeast 18th Avenue between

A thief drove away with a 2003 Toyota Tundra in the 700 block of Northeast 167th Street between

12:30 and 1 a.m. Jan. 27.

A thief stole a picture, a watch, $2,000 and a wallet after breaking into and ransacking a house in the 1000 block of Northeast 175th Street between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 26.

A burglar made off with a computer monitor, a laptop computer, a safe box, a Sony PlayStation2, another game system, 40 games, jewelry and a Microsoft Xbox after entering and ransacking a house in the 1000 block of Northeast 159th Street between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 24. The items were valued at $9,650.

A thief stole two DVD players, jewelry, a wallet, a piggy bank with coins after entering an apartment in the 3600 block of Northeast 168th Street between

10:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 24.

MIAMI SHORES

A thief broke into a car in the first block of Northwest 105th Street before stealing a box of collectible coins and silver dollar certificates valued at $600 between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 27 and 10 a.m. Jan. 28.

A thief stole a bicycle valued at $200 after entering a garage in the first block of Northeast 101st Street between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 26 and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27.

A thief stole two cellphones valued at $780 from a car in the 8800 block of Biscayne Boulevard between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 26.

BISCAYNE PARK

A thief stole a 1972 Chevrolet Impala in the 11900 block of Northeast 12th Court at 11 a.m. Jan. 23. Police said a home surveillance video showed a black unmarked tow truck towing the car away.

EL PORTAL

A thief removed a license tag off of a car in the 200 block of Northwest 91st Street between 10 p.m. Jan. 15 and 10 a.m. Jan. 16.

MIAMI-DADE

A thief entered the Jewelry Exchange, 1205 NE 163rd St., before asking to see a wedding ring and then running out of the store with the item at 12:45 p.m. Jan. 24. The ring was valued at $3,000.

A burglar tried to pry open a back window at a house in the 300 block of South Biscayne River Drive sometime Jan. 24 and before

1 p.m. Jan. 25. Damage was estimated at $25.

Burglars took 20 coils of copper, 12 fans and 12 air-conditioning compressors from the roof of the California Club Mall, 850 Ives Dairy Rd., between 2 p.m. Jan. 18 and 11 a.m. Jan. 24. The items were valued at $15,200.

A burglar made off with a camcorder and two laptop computers after entering the unlocked front door at a house in the 20000 block of Northeast Sixth Court between noon and 3 p.m.

Jan. 24. The stolen items were valued at $2,700.

A burglar shot out five awning windows with a BB gun at a house in the 300 block of Northeast 164th Street before taking an FPL meter between 10 a.m. Jan. 14 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 24. Damage was estimated at $200. The meter was valued at $100.

Le recomendé al lector quejoso que se quede alli en Bushlandia, en su "paraiso sin crimen" de La Florida, si tanto le teme al delito en Argentina.
